Before you book

The things people ask before they book a KB Reset, answered straight. We've put price first, since it's usually the first question.

It costs more than a regular clean.

It does, because it's a bigger job.

We'd rather you know that now than be surprised at the end of the walkthrough. The price is set by the room and by a written list, and it covers the whole job, whatever it takes.

What happens if it's left

Build-up doesn't stay where it is. Grease on the tops of the cupboards and in the rangehood filter keeps collecting and gets harder to shift. Soap scum left on shower glass long enough etches it for good, and mould that gets into the silicone has to be cut out and replaced. That's when a cleaning job turns into a repair job.

Why a regular clean doesn't fix it

A regular clean is paid by the hour, so it covers what fits in the time. The oven glass, the rangehood filter, the tops of the cupboards and the grout take the longest, so they're the first things left off.

What you're paying for

  • A written list. There are 14 things on the kitchen list and 14 on each bathroom's, and we're finished when the list is finished.

  • The two owners. Alex and Justin do every job, so nobody else comes and it's never someone new.

  • The kit and the time. A steam cleaner for the grout, a HEPA vacuum, and the time to take the oven door and the rangehood filter apart.

Why we can promise the result

Everything we do is on the list in writing, so you can check it against the room. If anything on the list isn't done, tell us within 24 hours and we come back and do it. The price is fixed before we start, so if it takes longer than we thought, that's on us.

What people weigh it against

Another deep clean
It costs less on the day, and if the build-up never comes off, it's back sooner than you'd like.
A weekly cleaner
It's good for keeping on top of things, and because it's paid by the hour, these spots rarely make the list.
Doing it yourself
It costs your weekends, the products, and kit most homes don't have.
Replacing things
A lot of what looks worn out is build-up. On the walkthrough we'll tell you which is which, including the things cleaning can't fix.

Paying is simple. Your price is fixed in writing and doesn't move. 20% holds your date, and the rest is paid after you've seen the finished job. If anything on the list is missed, tell us within 24 hours and we come back.

I'd like to check with my partner first.

Of course. The easiest way is to have them on the video walkthrough with you.

If someone else will decide with you, have them on the same call, so you both see the same rooms and hear the same price. You don't have to pass it all on later, and they can ask their own questions.

If they can't make it, this page is a good one to send them.

We'd like to think it over.

That's fair. Your price is in writing, so there's time.

It holds until 11:59pm on the seventh day after we send it, and the date is printed on your agreement. Once your deposit is paid, the price holds until the job is finished. Nothing is paid until you decide to book.

We're busy, and it's hard to be home.

You don't need to be home.

It's only ever Alex and Justin, the two owners, so you know exactly who's coming, and you can let us in and head off, or leave us a key. Weekends are the same price, and the job can be split over two days. The video walkthrough happens on your phone from wherever you are, and evenings are possible.

We don't know you yet.

It's always the two of us: Alex and Justin, the owners.

Nobody else comes, and it's never someone new. We're police checked every six months and carry $10m public liability, and you can read what other people said about us on Google.

We've had other quotes.

It's worth comparing them line by line.

Ask each one whether the oven door comes apart for the glass between the panes, whether the rangehood filter comes out and is degreased on its own, and whether every grout line is steamed. Ours are written into the agreement, so you can check them against the room.

What if something gets missed?

Tell us within 24 hours and we come back and do it.

The list is in writing, so you can check the rooms against it. Our refund policy

What if some of it is wear?

Some things are wear: etched glass or stone, and mould that has gone into the grout, silicone or wall lining. Those need a repair, and we'll tell you on the walkthrough if we see any.

Can you do the rest of the house?

If you'd like more of the house done, say so on the walkthrough and we'll quote it there.

Still deciding? Talk to Justin.

Tell us about your rooms and he'll call you back from 0480 421 252, or call or text him yourself. The call and the walkthrough are both free.
