The KB Reset
A one-off clean of your kitchen and bathrooms, done by the two owners to a written list: 14 things in the kitchen and 14 in each bathroom. It's finished when the list is finished.

Most people who call us are on top of their cleaning. The kitchen and bathrooms just collect the build-up a weekly clean was never paid to reach, and after a while no amount of wiping touches it.
A KB Reset goes after that build-up, spot by spot, from a list we write down before we start.
Why only kitchens and bathrooms?
Because that is where it builds up worst, and a list kept to two rooms is one we finish every time. If you want the rest of the house done as well, say so at the walkthrough and we quote it there.
What's on the list
This is the list we work to on every KB Reset. It's the same list that goes in your agreement, and we're finished when the list is finished.
The kitchen
14 on the list- Dusting top to bottom, including vents, light fittings, and cobweb removal.
- The tops of the overhead cupboards and the top of the refrigerator cleaned and degreased.
- The rangehood degreased inside and out, with the filter removed and degreased separately.
- The oven interior decarbonised with the door taken apart, including the glass between the panes, and the oven front and knobs degreased. The racks and trays are not included.
- The stovetop and its knobs deep degreased, with the grates and burners lifted off and degreased separately.
- Both sides of every cupboard and cabinet door degreased, including the door frames and trim.
- The splashback and the benchtops degreased and detailed, using a pH-neutral cleaner on stone.
- The sink basin degreased and disinfected, with the tapware and fixtures descaled and polished.
- The dishwasher cleaned inside and out, including the filter.
- The microwave cleaned inside and out.
- The refrigerator exterior wiped, degreased and disinfected.
- The kitchen window, the interior glass, frame and tracks detailed, and the blinds dusted and wiped. The flyscreen and the exterior glass are not included.
- Walls spot cleaned; high-touch areas disinfected.
- Floors degreased and mopped, and the skirting detailed.
Each bathroom
14 on the list- Dusting top to bottom, including vents, light fittings, and cobweb removal.
- Every grout line steam cleaned, floor and wall.
- Soap scum descaled from the shower screen and the tiling.
- Surface mould treated and removed.
- Inside the shower detailed, including the walls, the base, and the door tracks.
- The toilet cleaned and disinfected, including behind it, the base, and the hinges.
- The exhaust fan cover taken off, cleaned, and refitted.
- Under and around the drains cleaned.
- The vanity exterior wiped and detailed, including both sides of every vanity and cabinet door and the tops of the cabinets.
- The sink basin degreased and disinfected, with the tapware and fixtures descaled and polished, including towel rails and holders.
- Mirrors and all glass squeegeed and detailed.
- The bathroom window, the interior glass, frame and tracks detailed, and the blinds dusted and wiped. The flyscreen and the exterior glass are not included.
- Walls spot cleaned; high-touch areas disinfected.
- Floors descaled and mopped, and the skirting detailed.
What's not included, and why
Keeping the list to two rooms is what lets us finish it every time. These are the things people most often ask about.
- Every other room
A KB Reset is the kitchen and the bathrooms. If you'd like more of the house done, say so on the walkthrough and we'll quote it there.
- Inside cupboards, drawers, vanities and the fridge
We clean the house and don't handle your belongings.
- The butler's pantry
It isn't part of the kitchen list.
- Oven racks and trays
The oven itself is on the list, door and glass included. The racks and trays aren't.
- Flyscreens and outside glass
Windows are done on the inside: the glass, the frame and the tracks.
Carpet steam cleaning, if you'd like it
It's an add-on, and it isn't part of the KB Reset list, so if you'd like carpets done while we're there, mention it on the walkthrough and it goes on your price as its own line.

What cleaning can't fix
Some things are wear: etched glass or stone, and mould that has gone into the grout, silicone or wall lining. Those need a repair, and we'll tell you on the walkthrough if we see any.

We'd rather you know that now than be surprised at the end of the walkthrough. The price is set by the room and by a written list, and it covers the whole job, whatever it takes.
What you're paying for
A written list. There are 14 things on the kitchen list and 14 on each bathroom's, and we're finished when the list is finished.
The two owners. Alex and Justin do every job, so nobody else comes and it's never someone new.
The kit and the time. A steam cleaner for the grout, a HEPA vacuum, and the time to take the oven door and the rangehood filter apart.
Why we can promise the result
Everything we do is on the list in writing, so you can check it against the room. If anything on the list isn't done, tell us within 24 hours and we come back and do it. The price is fixed before we start, so if it takes longer than we thought, that's on us.
